Dave

I have worked at Bradfield College Sports Complex for 19 years, developing a strong understanding of the daily operation of a busy and diverse sports facility. My role includes staffing management, health and safety oversight, and ongoing maintenance to ensure all facilities are maintained to a consistently high standard. Throughout my time here, I have ensured compliance with safety regulations while promoting a safe and welcoming environment for all users. I take pride in leading by example and supporting a reliable, well-trained team.

James

I have worked as the Sports Complex Manager for over 12 years. I started my career in leisure in 1996 working as a Membership Consultant at Salisbury Leisure Centre. Since then I worked as a Facility Manager for King’s School in Winchester and a Leisure Centre Manager for Winchester City Council for 7 years. My previous job before working at Bradfield College was for the private sector managing three sites in Hungerford, Lambourn & Kintbury.  My role focuses on developing the business and ensuring service levels are maintained to a high standard. I very much enjoy my role and the diverse nature of it. I get to work with and meet some great people, and consider myself very fortunate to work at Bradfield College.

Maddie

I started my career in 1995 working in Stellenbosch, South Africa for Health & Racquet Club, now known as Virgin Active. Throughout my 5-year journey with them I worked my way up from Reception to Aerobics/Reception Manager whilst also teaching fitness classes.

Since arriving in the UK in 2000 I have worked in a variety of administration/personal assistant roles while still teaching group fitness classes. I like the variety of organising/co-ordinating different administrative tasks with motivating and finding joy in exercising.

I have worked at Bradfield Sports Complex since 2018 as a Sports Complex Administrator & Group Fitness Class Manager; processing & invoicing block bookings, producing gym-, class- and pool timetables and dealing with a variety of membership enquiries. Alongside this role I still teach a variety of classes and feel very privileged to be able to do both roles in a place surrounded by such natural beauty.
