We are seeking a highly motivated Duty Manager to lead our team of Recreation Assistants and Lifeguards, to achieve consistently high standards of customer service and safety in our Sports Complex and Tennis Centre.
Our Duty Managers are expected to be more than just shift leaders, as they also support the Operations Manager in developing and implementing procedures for Quality and Health and Safety. Your role will also involve staff training, performance monitoring, and management of specific administrative tasks.
The ideal candidate will hold qualifications in leisure management/operations (e.g. Pool Plant Operators), as well as health and safety certifications like NPLQ and First Aid at Work however full training will be given and these qualifications can be acquired during the probationary period.
You will form part of the duty shift rota, which covers the entirety of the opening hours of the complex, including early mornings, late evenings, and alternate weekends.

Bradfield College is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Swimming Instructor to support our very busy Children’s Swimming Lesson Programme that takes place at weekends during the school term and some school holidays/half-terms.
The successful candidate will be required to teach swimming lessons on a regular basis on a Saturday morning and also assist with ad hoc cover. We follow the Swim England ASA programme teaching from Ducklings to Stage 10.
You will need a Level 1 & 2 Swimming Teachers’ Certificate, and the National Rescue Award would also be desirable but not essential. You will need to be welcoming and flexible in your approach and be able to work well within a team environment.
Candidates will be able to demonstrate that they can communicate well with young children and have empathy in their approach, alongside good time keeping and organisation skills.
This is a part time role, working Saturday mornings and school holidays.
